You can start from where you are!

Friends do not be discouraged to start small. You can start from where you are, starting small should not bother you but remaining small should be a serious concern.

Most people started very small and grew bigger along the way due to vision, determination, resilience and hard work. I started trading in Nkolokosa back then by buying cocacola bottles and selling of freezes and toffee sweets. It all started as a small game of mable and I happened to be the best in Nkolokosa if not the whole Soche Area. We started with putting up buttons to win and later on coins. I used to beat them all. It is the money from that marbel game or olo, that I started using to buy empty Coca-Cola bottles from people.

Buying bottles door by door, carrying bottles from Nkolokosa to PTC Main Shop in Blantyre through Mandala was not an easy job. Selling freezes and Toffee house to house in Nkolokosa was not easy at all. There was a lot of perseverance, despised the shame from my friends but I ended up having money in my pocket. At the age of 13 I had my first bank account which my mum helped me to open at Soche Post Office. When I got selected to go to Secondary School I spoilt myself by buying nice shoes, nice jacket and some pocket money. Since that time I made up my mind not to despise the days of small beginnings. It is possible to start small, you need to be persistent, you need to be focused and never mind about what people say or think about you. Such lessons from my past have had an impact on my approach to life now. It helped me to develop analytical skills to determine whether what I’m doing makes money sense or not and also developed a thick skin in taking business risks. I learnt negotiation skills at such a tender age.

You can start today with what you have and where you are right now on your journey to greatness!

What do you have that you can start with?!
