For one to effectively network you need time, interpersonal relationship skills, a clear purpose, knowledge, confidence, humility, a heart of service etc etc
I have realized that one’s next level in his destiny just requires that investment in network. I have gone to weddings, churches, hospitals, travelled to other countries, served people, made presentations, build content, just to build my network. People would like to appreciate what’s in it for them. I have realized the next level in your growth requires knowledge, diligence, humility and interpersonal relationships. Great network are built when it appeals to peoples emotions, like a birthday wish, a compliment! Kukapepesa maliro etc, etc
Most businesses and opportunities are not concluded in a formal setting it’s at church, mosque, cultural group, on the golf course, at the club and even at the funeral. Social media is a great tool for building your network and rrelationship as well.
My friend and my son had to travel to Tanzania for one reason, that was to meet VT (Vusi Thembakwayo) below. We targeted tea break and a photo shooting to enhance our relationship.
You may have or the Degrees and technical skills but with no network your growth will be stunted. You need to build your social capital!
